Your Donations At Work

By being the unified voice of our region’s young talent, TYP brings new ideas and perspectives to help Tucson be the best it can be in a way that benefits all. To do that, we live by this mantra: “We lead today, not tomorrow.”

A couple of years ago we recognized that we could not fully live into this if we didn’t commit to becoming the next generation of philanthropists in our community; people who are investing in the organizations and ideas making Greater Tucson better. Our membership being between 21 and 45 years-of-age means that for a long time, for many of us, we were let off the hook in how we put dollars back into Tucson. We’ve grown up being told that if we just give of our talent and time, that’s good enough. At some point, to lead TODAY, we have to also invest our treasure. TYP Philanthropy is committed to creating a culture of philanthropy within Tucson Young Professionals, and we are excited to launch what we call TYP 100 – a vision of 100 TYP members philanthropically contributing each year. Our Philanthropy Committee connects our members to the region’s great nonprofits, and quarterly we vote as a group on which organization our philanthropy goes to. We are excited about this vision, and are grateful to the United Way for their support.

Whatever you have decided you can contribute philanthropically, at whatever amount, we thank you for just making the commitment! This is a seed that will grow over time in your life and in your community!
